I have said this for a long time, they are going to go all the way to the Dnipro river not west of it because the west side is not pro-Russian and take the whole of the Black sea coast line including Odessa. In the north they are going to take a buffer zone so Ukraine can not fire off missiles towards Russia. The distance they take depends on how far Ukrainian missiles can shoot towards Russia.

It's a sad situation for Ukraine and Ukrainians because their boy does not want to stop the war.

Why even bother when the main player in this conflict was not invited. How can you reach a peace agreement or any type of settlement when one of the warring parties is not even at the negotiating table. Especially when that absent party is going to dictate the terms of Ukraine's capitulation. Ukraine has lost this thing.

To be fair, I think the only reason Putin made that peace offer is because he knew the Ukranian's are about to receive a huge load of weapons and ammunition from the USA and EU. He knew it would be rejected, its exactly what the Ukranian's have been fighting against from day one. And why would they give in when they've just been re-armed to the teeth ??

I also think Putin's army is in a much worse shape than he lets on. They've not made the sweeping gains I would have expected given that Ukraine has had hardly any ammunition for the last 6 months. Put it this way, Ukraine is being supplied by the USA and EU (two of the biggest economies on earth) whereas Putin is having to go cap in hand to North Korea (one of the poorest economies on earth)

I think one of two things will happen over the next few months. Either there will be a settlement OR Ukraine will start pushing the Russians back.
