You people need to put down your pipes and needles think clear headed. How many moon landings, rocket launches have gone wrong in the past few years. You tell me with the primitive computers of the '60's era we landed people and brought them home safe and sound.

i was serious. i want to see if that can get a smaller un man version to the moon without air leaks. there are things i would change on the process of launch. i would also like to see the craft use hydrogen and solar...koster wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 6:51 pmI was messing not seriousBrasSmonkey wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 6:45 pmi said that earlier in this thread....it never worked... i could design the one i think would work.

I watched Apollo 11 land and the fist steps on the moon, it was one of the greatest achievements for our country and still is.

You make me laugh LOL. So you saw something once that you "think" was an alien spacecraft and now you know more about rocket design than SpaceX and NASA combined ?????BrasSmonkey wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 8:53 pmi was serious. i want to see if that can get a smaller un man version to the moon without air leaks. there are things i would change on the process of launch. i would also like to see the craft use hydrogen and solar...koster wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 6:51 pmI was messing not seriousBrasSmonkey wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 6:45 pm

Just a few months ago, NASA launched the James Webb Telescope to the "L2" point which is 4 times further away than the moon and is in orbit round the sun (rather than the earth) so I think they have a pretty good idea on this stuff
They are NOT going to rebuild the Apollo 11. Apollo cost HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of dollars every launch and not a single part of it was designed to be re-usable. Thats not what spaceX is trying to do
You cant launch a rocket using just solar panels and hydrogen. Solar panels are heavy and so take a lot of fuel to launch them and the power you get from them in return is miniscule. They are only any good if you are going to stay in orbit for a long time and even then, only to run the onboard systems
Fusing hydrogen takes HUGE temperatures and pressures. Its basically a nuclear bomb and again the equipment to do it is far too heavy for space travel purposes

they Are paid to fail!!!
Is NASA funded by taxpayers?
As a federal agency, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) receives its funding from the annual federal budget passed by the United States Congress.

What is it taking us so long to go back when we have super computers, gps, ai and more tech than ever before?
