The question is, how is Trump going to spin this as a victory ??? Remember when the war first started, he said nothing less than "unconditional surrender" would do. Well now he's got to give Iran pretty much whatever they want for them to open the straits again.

Around 12-15% of all global trade and over 30% of global container traffic flows through that strait (over $1 trillion pa). Worse still there is pretty much NOTHING Trump can do to stop them. Bombing them clearly doesn't work and neither has the blockade.
