Ahh ok, I assumed te were skimming their 2% from everything that goes through the out.php (we use paid versions so ive no idea) but obviously notZug wrote: ↑August 13th, 2023, 3:31 pmI've always used the out.php like as in site.com/te3/out.php?id=tradelink.com .. te does not skim from that. I suppose you could bypass the out.php all together, but I don't see why that would be beneficial. You have to use out.php?s=100& whatever other parameter you want to use. I guess you could use ?s=100&id=tradelink.com when building your trade lists .. but then 2% of those outs would go to TE skim links.bestfreeporn wrote: ↑August 13th, 2023, 3:07 pmI follow you guys but what is the point of using the script for just hard links and not using it to trade traffic based on productivity.tacnet wrote: ↑August 13th, 2023, 3:05 pm
Thats correct. If you dont use the out.php file then TE3 has no way of tracking or skimming your outgoing traffic
So if users are not using skimming then they could just hard link back to their link trades and bypass out.php altogether. You would loose a lot of the functionality like productivity tracking etc
In that case your right, no real benefit to bypassing the out.php as far as i can see
