People are entitled to their own gender identity for sure, but if they don't identify as a female what are they doing in an all-female school?
They're clearly in the wrong from the beginning and it almost seems as though they are going out of their way to incite conflict and manufacture reasons to be "offended"...
Either
A) you identify as a female regardless of what gender you were born as and therefore belonging in all girls school in which case what are you bitching about? Or
B)you don't identify as a girl you identify as a boy regardless who went gender you were born as,, in which case you have no business knowingly attending an all girls school, therefore addressing the classes girls with warranted and their presence was not. OR
C) if the argument is such that the student identifies is not having a gender, that doesn't exist.. there is no third gender and to my knowledge there's no such thing as a unic - so just my honest opinion has somebody who's been part of the gay community since long before the term "LGBT" was ever uttered let alone "LGBTQ" - trepidation in that area would boil down to either that students personal psychosocial development phase determining who and what they are and navigating the confusion (not the teachers problem) or a need to invent a way to be special unique and different when they can't do so on their own merits (also not the teacher's problem)
Furthermore those who genuinely do so just as an attention getter or way to be especially unique and different when in fact they are none of those things and in fact the other ordinary and unoriginal under the surface can go straight to hell along with the gen z snowflakes who make a dramatic show out of "comimg out of the closet" as "Demisexual" or "sapiosexual" and act as if it is some sort of heroic show of bravery...
Mashugana - those aren't even real things there's a recently invented nonsense labels that literally mean that you become more attracted to somebody physically after emotionally or are physically attracted to intelligence (respectively)
the fact that those are even being entertained by anyone as remotely similar to a sexual orientation or struggle coming out of the closet is appallingly insulting to anyone who ACTUALLY came out of the closet, especially in a conservative and/or small town area pre-2005 in the US ( or currently in a lot of the world)
Also, people who insist on being referred to as They/Them are extremely selfish as that is grammatically incorrect unless you're referring to them past tense, in absentia, multiples of them, or in third party context. The fact that these individuals do not like the fact that the grammatically correct gender neutural pronoun referring to a single individual in the present tense and /or in first person context is "it" and they expect the entire rest of the world to bastardize the English language to accommodate their displeasure with the grammatically correct pronoun for their dubious nonsense "self identifier" ( which I'm clearly ambivalent about the legitimacy of)
Okay rant done LOL

If I was in her place I would not have said sorry and quit. This is plain wrong on so many levels.
