Louisiana now requires age verification to visit porn sites

I watched TYT 2 twice on Youtube and couldn't stand that guy Cenk or whatever his name is, they talk to the audience as if they are kids, that is my feeling. So I never went back and those 2 in the video do the same thing.

When will politicians EVER understand how the internet works ???? This is exactly the same thing that they tried here in the UK a few years ago. They had to abandon it because there is one HUGE problem with trying to legislate porn like this :-

This is for sites hosted in Louisiana. They dont have ANY jurastiction outside the state so closing down the handful of sites actually hosted in Louisiana is going to have ZERO impact on how much porn kids can see. Which is the whole point of the legislation

Unless the entire world does it all at the same time then its meaningless

None of us want kids seeing our content but the ONLY way to prevent it is through parental controls. Yes kids can bypass the parental controls using VPNs so put parental controls on the VPNs aswell. Hell of a lot easier than trying to legislate the entire world !

I imagine this law will be turned over in a heartbeat

The voice of reason, you tell them tacnet they need to get a lesson in real life.
