Name one plus and one negative aspect pf the update, I can not come up with either.

It's a security release, so most people won't be able to tell a difference. Unless maybe someone is doing blackhat and was taking advantage of XSS in the block editor in 5.4-5.8, but then they won't want to update lol.
Or if your site was affected by a data exposure bug using rest API, then the update will be beneficial. Plus other little things.

This explains why I did not see any real changes in the admin, thanks for the explanation.
