I use the subscribe link on threads and it sends me an email, try that Bill.

Hi Bill

You can edit if you want to be notified when you have a private message, someone replies to your threads or a thread you have posted in and so on.

Click on your user name at the upper right of the page
Then click on "User control panel"
Then click on "Board preferences"
Then click on "Edit notification options" on the left, put a check mark in each option you want.

Save the changes by clicking on "Submit" at the bottom.

I had no idea thank you for the information, net thing I do is set my settings to get emails to posts i replied to.
