First of all ssh! You have no idea what you are talking about when you talk about me and my finances.urbanlegend wrote: ↑August 31st, 2019, 11:09 amwith a domain like nude.com you are not living pay check to pay check like 80% of Americans so you would not understand how and why a minimum wage is so important for so many millions of people.
Second did you even read the article?
Less than 4% of the people earn minimum wage. Minimum wage jobs are not meant to be careers! Those using them as careers need to get an education.
Are you then capable of doing the math to determine how many of those will LOSE their jobs, when the minimum wage is increased?
That is a Historical FACT! Look it up.
There is a reason I own NUDE.com.. I can do math (advanced). At a young age I learned how to earn and keep my money.
I don't like hearing or reading about people excuses. Read book, go to the library, ask for help etc.
The fact that you said it was millions of people forced me to respond. Because of all the people that can not read more than one sentence and keep it in there brain while they read the second sentence.
It is NOT millions!
If that outrageous number is correct, just think of how many of those are going to NOT have a job.

I quote
"
new evidence that increases in the minimum wage reduce employment in the long run.
higher minimum wages have a cost, namely fewer employment opportunities for lower-skill workers
"
You keep voting for less jobs by supporting minimum wage increases.
