White background is how I roll for my sites

Reading books, newspapers, etc got us used to dark print on light pages so it's always a good choice, however white tends to be glaring and hard on the eyes. You can soften it a bit by choosing something more like the color of paper such as #fcfcfc for example.

This might not apply to younger and future generations since most of them probably do their reading online and on the back of cereal boxes.

Oh... and BDSM = black. That's a no-brainer

It was my color of choice 10 -15 years ago then I got off black themes.
