Some sites I work with on traffic trades block third tier country and poor quality incoming hits

[Markus]

Post some examples of good 404 pages for the rest of us to see and learn from.

[xxxman]

My wp plugin redirects 404 to the home page, if it gets more views or clicks I am happy.

If you're talking of broken images block it, if it is page not found then make it work send it over to a site of yours.

All the 404 from all the sites I run go to my one blog with a little bit of everything there, str8,gay,lesbian, shemale......

[fetishnews]

Make a site add a pop under to it to a webcam sponsor, send it all there, so they don;t like a pop who cares it was already 404 traffic you were getting.

[Wm2man]

I jump it from one site to the other, A>B abd B>C

[Sebs]

I jump it from one site to the other, A>B abd B>C

Is that more effective, I redirect to the same domain it is from.
