Any causes of this condition, is it some chemical imbalance, age related or what?josline wrote: ↑September 26th, 2026, 6:08 pmIt's been months I have this excruciating pain in my right thumb and wrist area, I thought it might be carpal tunnel syndrome from using the mouse so many hours a day for so long,I visited a clinic they said to get corticosteroid injection and a thumb splint, if that doesn't help after a few times to get surgery. Has anyone here been though this and got any shots or the surgery?

The injections are not a permanent cure, when my friend had CTS he got it for a year then went in for surgery it got fixed for good, you might want to keep this in mind.
