Why are established car companies doing their best to turn away their loyal buyers?

Yup. I don't know why but whenever established car companies make an EV, they try and make it look all cool and futuristic. Just take the designs that we all know and love and stick an electric motor in it !

Tie will tell if Ferrari fans and collectors revere it as one of the all time best models the company has produced my guess not even close it looks a terrible design even for a low end EV 4 door.

A Luce sold at auction for $40 million
"Ferrari Luce has made history, with the first production example of the marque’s first fully electric car selling for $40 million, around Dhs147 million, at RM Sotheby’s during Monterey Car Week.
The result makes it the highest-value new car ever sold at auction, surpassing the previous record set by a Ferrari Daytona SP3, which achieved $26 million in 2025. The landmark sale reflects the significance of the Luce within Ferrari’s story: not simply a new model, but a decisive step into an electric future."
