Im not sure the administration was working to end the Ukraine war ?? Thought Trump had pulled back and left it all up to Europe
Now is the time to talk peace though because Ukraine are really starting to push back. In the past 2 weeks they have taken out over 100 Russian shadow fleet ships in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea which has meant fuel rationing across most of Russia and there's NO FUEL AT ALL in Crimea (Fuel in Crimea is for military or emergency response ONLY)

CNN is reporting that North Korea is set to send another 30,000 troops to fight for Russia in Ukraine. This crosses a major red line in this war
In 2025, North Korea sent 13,000 troops to help Russia defend the Kursk region after Ukraine invaded it. They managed to push them back but lost over 4,000 casualties in the process. In that instance, those troops were restricted to fighting on Russian soil because that is seen as one ally helping another ally to defend itself which is acceptable.
This time it's different. If those troops turn up in the Donbas or on the front line (which they are expected to) then that is basically North Korea invading Ukraine which would be a big red line for NATO.
So far NATO has resisted putting troops into Ukraine (even though several countries have said they are willing to do so) but if North Korea are now getting involved then this could change everything.
It's another step closer to an all out war between NATO and Russia

"Zelenskyy urged airlines to avoid Russian airspace, warning that expanding Ukrainian drone operations are making the skies increasingly unsafe.
Some Chinese and Gulf carriers continue to use Russian airspace, despite most Western airlines avoiding it since Russia’s full-scale invasion.
Putin accuses Kyiv of “state terrorism” as Ukraine steps up long-range drone strikes against Russian energy and logistics targets."

If a Ukrainian drone or missile hits a passenger plane full of innocent travellers support for Ukraine will go down real fast, you can not hit cicilian planes not involved in the war.The reverse is true if it was a Russian drone hitting a passenger plane over Ukraine.

The killing has to stop on both sides, people do not need to die for failed political decisions. I agree threatening or actually shooting at passenger planes is a war crime and I hope it does not happen.

Agreed. That's why Zelensky made this announcement. To warn civilian airlines that Russian airspace is going to be full of drones so its best to avoid it. The last thing he wants to see is a civilian plane getting accidentally hit by a droneEmil wrote: ↑September 3rd, 2026, 4:05 pmIf a Ukrainian drone or missile hits a passenger plane full of innocent travellers support for Ukraine will go down real fast, you can not hit cicilian planes not involved in the war.The reverse is true if it was a Russian drone hitting a passenger plane over Ukraine.
Lets hope it does bring peace but here's the thing. Neither Steve Witkoff or Jared Kushner have EVER been to Kyiv ??? They have been to Russia and met with Putin loads of times. They are supposed to be negotiating a peace deal but they are only talking to one side ?? Putin makes his maximalist demands, they deliver them to Kyiv and then try and pressure Ukraine to give in which is never going to workWm2man wrote: ↑September 5th, 2026, 9:06 amThere is hope this latest peace proposal sent o Moscow by Trump might bring an end to this war.

Ukraine is reportedly considering legalizing sex work to help its battered economy and fund the war against Russia, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday.
In Ukraine, the production, possession, or distribution of pornography is illegal and is punishable by up to seven years in prison.
Despite this, the adult entertainment industry in the country has grown considerably but operates with the cooperation of a corrupt police force, the WSJ reported.
Ukrainian authorities have begun demanding taxes from adult content creators. However, anyone who complies effectively admits their involvement in criminal activity."

Hey the best thing that can come about from this war is porn may become legal in Ukraine!

Trump has been saying this war happened during Biden's presidency and it would never have happened if he was president, he was going to end it in 24 hours after being elected, it's still going on, what is his plan.Talk is cheap where are the results.
