It might be rough in the short term rooting out any corrupt individuals but long term it is for the best. One thing to keep in mind innocent until proven guilty, just because they raided or investigated this guy or any other does not mean they are guilty. Yermak was probably forced to resign but he's still innocent in my opinion until any charges are brought against him and proven to be the case in a court of law. Assuming they bring charges and prove them to be the case.

They are independent Anti-Corruption prosecutors and court. Placed by EU. Recently government tried to close it, but people went to the streets + EU was pretty unhappy. So they stayed. And results are very pleasant.

A planned meeting in Brussels between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and a visiting US delegation that included US President Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has been canceled.

Kyiv Post’s Chief Correspondent in Washington DC Alex Raufoglu, citing his sources, wrote on X that “the Brussels meeting is called off,” adding that Zelensky is returning to Ukraine.

He added that the Kremlin claims Witkoff and Kushner “promised” to fly directly to Washington following their talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow – a statement not confirmed by the US side."

Peace talks between the U.S. and Ukraine have stumbled over one main issue: how to force Ukraine to give up what the Kremlin has failed to seize during the war — the entirety of the Donbas region.

“On the territory issue, Americans are simple: Russia demands Ukraine to give up territories, and Americans keep thinking how to make it happen,” a senior European official familiar with the negotiation process told POLITICO on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter.

“The Americans insist that Ukraine must leave the Donbas … one way or another,” the official added."
