[NEWS] Ukraine Can’t Win the War

It is getting very dangerous a few countries have said they might send special ops, advisers and military over there. What happens if the Russians bomb an area and one of them dies, do we go in full force against the Russians.

Hey even if they go in officially it's fair game. No one invited you to fight another man's war. This might all be a scare tactic to get the Russians to negotiate. But I do not see the Russians negotiating any more, they are going to dictate the terms of any end to this thing, they are marching through at an unprecedented rate of advance. Russia is doing exactly what the US does, go look up the Monroe doctrine which President James Monroe in December 1823 saids was no country can come to the western hemisphere try interfere or put military bases there. Russia is saying no NATO on our border with Ukraine. Not that hard to understand really. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I dont believe this war has anything to do with NATO borders. NATO was NOT expanding eastwards, its Russia who is expanding westwards.

By taking Ukraine Putin will be pusing the Russian borders right up to NATO. Just imagine how fraught the Polish / Ukraine border will be afterwards with Russian and NATO forces standing toe to toe ??? One false move could trigger an all out war

With all due respect you are 100% wrong.

When the Russians and Americans agreed that the Soviet Union would fold and east Germany would reunify with west Germany ( a great thing by the way) the Russians were told NATO would not go 1 inch eastwards if that happened.

Israel would have captured Ukraine long ago the Russians are not taking this seriously, they need to mobilize a million troops go in win or get out.This idea not to kill civilians or damage civilian infrastructure is not how you win a war.

Yes I can see your point but your comparing the former soviet union to tdoay and soviet union collapsed over 30 years ago.

Since then, the Warsaw Pact members (Poland, Bulgaria, Romania etc) have chosen their own destiny and they have chosen to join NATO. What Russia is doing today is expanding their borders westwards BY FORCE.

We have to bear in mind that in 2000, Russisn signed the Charter for European Security affirming the right of each state "to choose or change its security arrangements" and join alliances. In 2002, Putin said that Ukraine's growing relations with NATO were no concern of Russia.

Russia used to be an ally and someone we could do business with (remember the George Bush "I got a sense of his soul" speech)

In 2008, NATO refused Ukraine and Georgia membership but Putin has STILL invaded both countries. This is not about NATO, its about rebuilding the former soviet union

the world is not in this conflict lol... it's nato,ukraine, and russia... the u.n. does not enter war. only way they would enter is a ceasefire that is why putin will reject it. they will have to give up more land im guessing.

they are not going to put nato in ukraine. it is just not worth it. we are not going nuclear over that place. china is trying to end the war...
