All we need is a strain of Covid-19 that is vaccine proof.

Yes.
Apparently once youve caught covid, the chances of you getting it again are very slim but nobody knows how long that immunity lasts so best to get the booster too
Im in the same position. Double jabbed AND had covid 2 months ago but im still going to get the booster. Seems pointless not to

I am no doctor but you would think once your get the disease the natural immunity the body has afterwards would be all you need, except for these new variants.

This new variant "Omnicron" is not good news as we go into winter.

Moderna Chief Executive Stéphane Bancel has some chilling news about the effectiveness of vaccines against this new Omicron mutation
"SYDNEY, Nov 30 (Reuters) - The head of drugmaker Moderna said COVID-19 vaccines are unlikely to be as effective against the Omicron variant of the coronavirus as they have been previously, sparking fresh worry in financial markets about the trajectory of the pandemic.
"There is no world, I think, where (the effectiveness) is the same level . . . we had with Delta," Moderna Chief Executive Stéphane Bancel told the Financial Times https://www.ft.com/content/27def1b9-b9c ... e432e0838f in an interview.
"I think it's going to be a material drop. I just don't know how much because we need to wait for the data. But all the scientists I've talked to . . . are like 'this is not going to be good.'""

After 4 decades there is no vaccine or cure for HIV/AIDS, this is why I have little hope of there ever being a cure or vaccine that will prevent me form getting covid-19.

The world simply cannot stand the cost of having to re-vaccinate the entire global population every time a new covid variant crops up.
The simple cost of the jabs alone is astronomical. I think the Pfeizer one is just under $30 a shot and Moderna is even higher and thats not to mention the lost productivity, shut downs, travel bans, logistics and everything else. All because of Omicron
So I think world leaders are beginning to realise there is only one solution....... MANDATORY VACCINES !. Stop it before it gets a chance to spread and mutate
China, Austria and several other countries already do this and more are talking about it. We simply cant let an un-vaccinates population be a breeding ground for new variants no matter what country they are in
Sod the human rights, hold the buggers down and jab em I say lol

All the drama over the Omicron variant, what I have read so far is people who have contracted it are showing mild symptoms and I have also read that as mutations occur they get weaker in the illness they cause. Not a doctor or scientist only repeating what I have seen posted.

Ive heard the same and it sounds logical. After all its not in the virus interest to kill off the hostTheButcher wrote: ↑December 1st, 2021, 4:19 pmAll the drama over the Omicron variant, what I have read so far is people who have contracted it are showing mild symptoms and I have also read that as mutations occur they get weaker in the illness they cause. But they also said that the problem with covid is not its severity, it how massively contagious it is.
So any new variant might be no more than a mild flu for 95% of people but when it infects billions, thats still a lot of people are going to die
And each variant is getting more and more contagious

Amen most people do not understand this relationship between host and organism living in the host, you kill off the host then you will die.

Delta has killed more people and made them sick than this new omicron version, what is all the fuss about.
