That's a good question. I guess it depends if the DOJ want to actually prosecute someone and my gut feeling is that they WONT regardless of any evidence. Firstly they've done everything they can to stop the information being released and secondly, if there is an actual court case, then all kinds of details could come out that they would have NO control over. But that wouldn't stop those men involved in this being found guilty in the court of public opinion. Look at what's happened to Andrewborn2bewild wrote: ↑December 20th, 2025, 8:05 amtacnet the bottom line is will any one be charged and found guilty of a crime or is it just another nothing burger what are your thoughts.
It just seems crazy that Trump's administration is taking so much damage over this one issue. The whole world (including their own party) is against them and they know it yet they persist in trying delay or disrupt the release of these files. They are obviously trying to protect someone and my money is on Trump himself. Although there has been no formal accusations against him, at least one survivor has claimed that she was molested by Trump in front of Epstein

We are now weeks past the deadline and the DOJ admits they have released less than 1% of the files !! Instead, in a classic distraction move, Trump has given the media a big juicy bone to chew on namely Venezuela

" Clintons defy subpoena to testify in Epstein investigation, risking being held in contempt
House Oversight Chair James Comer says he will have members vote to hold Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress."
I thought you can not you refuse a Congressional subpoena without legal ramifications.

I don't know if Clinton is guilty of anything or not (it wouldn't surprise me) but I think it's ironic that the republicans want to hold Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress when it was Congress who ordered the DOJ to release all the Epstein files by Dec 19th......nearly a month ago. If anybody is in contempt of Congress then it's Pam Bondi !!TheButcher wrote: ↑January 14th, 2026, 11:32 amYou assume correctlySebs wrote: ↑January 13th, 2026, 9:11 pmhttps://www.politico.com/news/2026/01/1 ... t-00724394

And why are they investigating Clinton's relationship with Epstein but not Trumps ???
Also, remember last year when Trump got that ruling from the supreme court that an ex president couldn't be charged for any actions he took whilst in office ??? That may come back to bite him in the ass

"CNN poll: Just 6% of Americans satisfied with how much US has released from Epstein files so far"

My question is what are the 6% satisfied about?

It's not over until the fat lady sings

" Lawmakers have taken the next step toward holding Bill and Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena to testify in the congressional Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
The Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee voted to send the effort to the full House for a vote. House Speaker Mike Johnson, who supports holding the Clintons in contempt, has committed to having the chamber weigh in on the resolutions.
Some Democrats joined with Republicans in voting to hold the former president in contempt. The vote to hold the former secretary of state in contempt was also bipartisan. But fewer Democrats supported that move, with some arguing she should be allowed to submit written testimony or should not have faced a subpoena for testimony in the first place.
Ultimately, however, it was moot as Republicans had the votes to send both to the full House. "
