Easy half-assed way to do it:

Then find a way to import new images once a week in that folder. :p

The links will take a couple more lines of code, but I'm lazy today.

When you get unlazy, which will most likely happen just a few seconds after I get unlazy, let me know. Maybe we can turn it into a free plugin with some paid upgrades????

Sure, but I'm sure it'd be more solid and using a db.
I'll message you in a few hours, it's definitely doable and shouldn't be too hard.

So, basically create a SQL db, then a page to upload them to where it uses a file like add.php to gather the info then write it to the db if all fields are correct etc, then saves the image file to /images or wherever. Then a separate script that changes the pic of the day every 24 hours and the image/links/text/etc all gets changed easily with the db wherever you want the potd to show up. The most annoying part would be the moderation if you let the public post to it.

Yeah, I think I might be onto something a little different.. But, if you're looking to make those dumps into posts, that's doable in the same type of way and you can generate posts out of the DBs.

You need a simple random pic rotation script, and dump all the images in a folder let it pull one every time. It is a very simple code to add to your pages.
