Why do people think that SEO is about posts?

Sure that is what so many people say SEO is. I get that.

SEO is not about posts. It is so much more intricate.

I can spend a few hours correcting your HTML procedures and get better results than you spending a few hours adding posts.
I recently took a client from NOT listed and listed at number 93 to the front page. All I did you ask? I corrected the sites HTML.
