W3C says to use lowercase in general as good practice. Most of the time it won't matter, and doesn't affect page load speeds at all, but there are some cases where it does matter. Not CSS classes, but HTML class names can be case sensitive depending on things like the doc type. Or just force quirks mode so it doesn't matter.. lol
Also, if you do any XHTML/XML, that is case sensitive as well as many other real programming languages. HTML is just a markup language.

Some marketing studies show that people read titles with all caps better/more often that not. Some studies show the opposite, though.. lolcimage wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2020, 4:23 pmWhy do people Tweet in all caps, it seems so dumb.GlennfromLA wrote: ↑January 19th, 2020, 3:07 pmGood to hear, quite often I forget the caps on when editing my pages.

My advice stay consistent, either all upper or all lower (recommended).

I was under the impression Google does not like upper case when it comes to code. I was wrong I guess.

Google doesn't care about case. But, just don't do things like having a /page.html and /PAGE.html. Also, Google used to have different SERPs for capital vs lowercase searches depending on how the url was, but they cleaned that up a few years ago and isn't the case anymore.

Lower case when texting, emailing and using code. My 1 cent.

I thought everyone coded in lower case, it seems the logical thing to do.

My biggest mistake when playing with html pages is forgetting or adding an extra "<" or ">" at places.
