My night will start at 8pm with friends for dinner and then they are all going to come over my place for 'drinks' have a happy new years eve.

It seems the Quebec government is going to announce a 3 week curfew from 9pm until 5am starting tomorrow night, so the plans will rapidly change. We will have a get together finish dinner early so everyone can be home by 9pm.

There is a 6 person limit on gatherings so that was trimmed down from what was originally allowed 20, then 10 and 6 on December 26th.

But hey with 14,188 new cases, 9 new deaths, an increase of 135 hospitalizations of which 16 more people are in ICU in a single day, I understand the logic in trying to restrict person to person contacts.
