My blog e getting copied by others, i paid $200 for the design and there are now 3 copies I saw online , found out because I saw them hot linking my images.

Is this possible to prevent people seeing your page source?

You can always prevent them hotlinking your images with .htaccess, simple line of code.

You can also do protections in htaccess as butcher said(look how here: https://www.inmotionhosting.com/blog/ho ... wordpress/ ) - though not from viewing source to my knowledge

But also, none of it really protects you - any decent designer can copy your design after simply looking at it unless you have some madly complex graphics or something

If they hot link my images that costs me band width, my blogs are nothing special in design terms, so I doubt any one will copy the looks.

Hi Sally just use your htaccess to stop hot linking of image files.

You can not copyright html form what I understand, only images, logos and text.

But ... if you are really eager you can of course encrypt the source code (and use java to decrypt it)

That should throw off any copy-pasters
