a theme i purchased has this:

i know nothing about div

so

how do i do a <div class> to put under the centered block, so that the rest of the text will be alligned left ?

would i do

</div>

and then under it put <div class="lfm_title" style="text-align:left">

This is one for Colmike7 and HeidiHoe, I'll stay out of it since my design skills are miserable.

That sounds like it will do what you're looking for.
Keep in mind, though, that sometimes there will be extra css in other places that can make tiny differences if it doesn't look exactly how you want it.

You also don't have to put text-align:left if you don't want to, unless you really want it to be left even on rtl users. :p

Also, don't forget the </div>

Edit: don't add in a new </div> for the first div since it'll be there somewhere already.
