I stopped drinking

It was a decision not taken lightly and not for any medical reason but I like my beer, and was having 2 or 3 every night. When we had friends or went out it would get to 5 some times. I figured why wait until I have to stop for health reason, and I am getting older so I said cold turkey time.

So today is 14 days I have not touched a drink and every time we have had friends over or been out I stick to diet Pepsi or diet 7-UP and am happy with myself.

Next on the list of habits to kick one shot is smoking, I smoke at least 20 a day and wanted to get this one out the way before going for the Bneson & Hedges.

Thank you Bill, I woke up one day and read a thread here, I think it was Chilling talking
about his intestine problem and started thinking that since I am getting older I might start having digestive issues with the regular drinking, so why increase my chances and after a few days decided to stop

My boyfriend drinks half a bottle of JD every day. I keep telling him that is too much but he will not listen.
