What are your thoughts on Frontend Frameworks
There are a few good ones, and a lot of them do more than just backend, but what are your thoughts about frameworks such as Angular, and Vue,js??
I know for a lot of old school coders, the idea of using a route file and MVC or MVVM can get a bit daunting if you have been writing code without frameworks.
I tried Angular and react a while back and was not a big fan.
I felt like Angular was kind of a mess at the time, however this was back in Angular 1, I hear its come a long way since and Im not really judging it based on that.
When it comes to react I did enjoy it but I found its use of non standard naming convention to be a bit strange, for example in react you cannot give a div a class by using the class attribute, instead you have to use the classname attribute. I know its not a big deal but I just didnt click with react.
Then I started using Vue.js, it still has its quirks but I have to say I enjoy using it out of all the other front-end frameworks I have tried. The code is clean, and the frameworks is quick, it does not force you to use routes, but rather gives you an option to do so.
What are your thoughts and what have you been using?

Angular is one of the best. My buddy does app development and we talk about what he does and what i do once in a while, he says Angular is good for many reasons, once you code an app you can use it on multiple platforms plus it is fast to load.

I hear a mixed bag on Angular, I tried angular back in Angular 1 when google still supported angular. And it was a complete mess. They basically had to rewrite the entire framework. I hear its a bit better now but I just kind of stay away from it.
I completed a single project with Angular thus far and from experience with other frameworks at least for me I can tell you its kinda lacking and a bit of a mess (again though angular 1).
Vue.js has been getting a lot of love and I can see why. I have done a few test apps with the framework and its pretty amazing. Its takes an MVVM instead of an MVC approach, its also auto update when it comes to content.
So if you have a js variable called message and its set to the string "welcome", maybe if a user tried to do an invalid action you can process the action and set the message variable to the string "you cannot do that". Lets say the variable populates an h1 tags content. As soon as you change the variables value it auto updates the page view without refreshing or having to do anything else.
There is a lot to Vue.js but I feel like it is the cleanest front end framework out there.

Me working on an app for a radio station in Milwaukee with Angular JS and something that I don't remember lol, something like i8 or i9 too so that we could all code and see each other in real time which was awesome, guess which one I am. :hat:
