That was one bad idea. Who in their right mind will transfer their domain to another person just to use a program.

We used to require people to transfer over the domain, but we do not any longer. Its too much of a pain in the ass. The main reason was charge backs. Some affiliates would set up a WL, make a bunch of sales then pull it and switch to a competitor. This creates a ton of charge backs. Granted the affiliate will take a hit as well, but they don't have to try and maintain a low chargeback % to maintain their billing.
