He's 20 has a 2023 Nissan Z bought it last year with a cosigner, has 4 more years of payments, and wants to save on the payments and insurance put the money aside buy himself a 1 bed condo move out by next year. Business and financial wise great idea but the guy is sad letting his dream car go. He listed it on FB market place Sunday got a few offers and he's taking one tomorrow. He pockets $4300 and no more payments.
Now I said good plan dude but I would not sell my car at his age to save for a condo.
Just saying.

I know what you mean Eric and as a car nut I would not do what he is doing but he is being an adult about it all. Good advice, I would give the same but would not do it myself just as you said

To you me and car nuts, a lot of people buy what they can afford and only care that it takes them from point A to point B.

Mine is a lot bigger than me and into body building, he's turning 38 tomorrow, we're surprising him going to dinner and I will never risk my teeth telling him what to do. The guy is an amateur boxer for christs sake.
