Sanctions, tariffs, wars everywhere, deportations all contribute to the economy going south. Now the oil price jump will only make it worse. The Republicans are going to feel the effects of their choices in the mid-terms.

Honestly I think all this chaos is going to ruin the chances of Republicans getting in in 2028. At least anybody associated with this administration (eg JD Vance, Marco etc) is going to be screwed

When your numbers are this low there are only two things that can turn them round. Either surviving an assassination attempt (which is what got Trump elected in the first place) or winning a war like Maggie Thatcher in the Falklands war in the 80s. She was on her way out but the war won her a 3rd term. Unfortunately I don't think winning a war that you started is going to count LOL
