Have you ever had a colonoscopy, is it painful because at 2pm I have one today.My doctor says he suspects I have polyps from an examination he did last week, what ever those are. I will save you from the details of what I have had to drink all day yesterday starting at lunch time, it is nasty shit.

The preparation and not eating the day before was the hardest as you found out, if they give you the option to put you to sleep go for it, the first time I was out of it, felt nothing. You will be fine, good luck boss.

My father had this done last year and he has to have one every 2 years, some thing about a growth in the colon that was tested and is not cancerous but need to be rechecked for a few years.

It was a piece of cake was a sleep in 15 seconds after the doc said they were going to inject some sleeping med in the iv, I woke up he said they took out 2 small samples to send for a bioscopy and will call me in a week. Yes I had a lot of air pumped into me and it came out withing half an hour after waking up. Nothing to it, they gave me a muffin and a small glass of orange juice once I was in recovery for half an hour, my brother drove me home.
