Why is my IPhone logging me out of the forum on every visit

WTF I have never experienced this, every tie I come here today on my IPhone it makes me login in and accept cookies, I click accept and it changes nothing. I cleared my visited sites and even restarted the phone, have you changed some settings on the forum today.I am using FireFox on an Iphone 14.

I have not forgotten about this issue, I checked and all the phpbb settings are fine, I have not touched them in a long time, I did update all the extensions today. For the guys having this problem can you please tell me what your browser is.

You should try login in with another browser, had the same issue a while ago.

This is likely a cookie issue. Its writing a session cookie instead of a persistent cookie (although it seems to be working fine on my android) so check your cookie settings

Also are you logging into https://sponsorchat.com/ or https://www.sponsorchat.com/ (ie with or without the www) as that can sometimes confuse cookies

@Butcher - Its best to force everybody onto the www version by adding this to your .htaccess

and took it off, I think I have an idea, not sure why I can not replicate the error on my Iphone or laptops, but it might have to do with session time out, when we had the last round of bot attacks the techs did some funky stuff, I'll ask them tomorrow if that has anything to do with it.

It shouldn't be otherwise it would happen on all browsers. As far as I can tell, your session cookies are set for 1 year. I think BHT is right, this is probably a browser setting.

Thinking about it, if your on an IPhone then have you tried it in Safari ??

This started happening to me when going to other sites, I changed from FireFox to Safari on my IPhone and it keeps me logged into sites. It can be my FireFox settings.

Why you using Firefox on an iphone when Safari is used by apple on their devices?
