A lot of people spend many hours on social media now a days and sometimes its easier to get a hold of someone through a message on say Instagram or twitter than it is via email, its surprising how people have forgotten about email. I myself didn't really start utilizing my email daily until not more than a year ago. When your actually doing business email should be the communication method if not by phone or in person.
