my ancient olde antique compaq presario can not update to the new google chrome (it's too antiquated to allow new google updates), so i never get any warnings about sites not being secure

don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing

so out of curiosity, when you or others visit the blog with newest chrome, does the site look ok or shitty with mixed http and https content?

The site looks fine. I'm guessing that if you log in you'll get the standard browser security warning. I don't have a login, but I don't see why it wouldn't. The question is, how happy will Google be with mixed content?
