AIDS vaccine passes early tests

It's costing insurers and the government millions to treat aids patients, a vaccine seems an obvious solution to reduce costs.

Vaccines have saved millions of lives over the decades, they are thoroughly researched and tested before made public, people need to stop thinking of vaccines as a risk.

Everything in life bears risk. If a vaccine puts the odds in your favor take the damn thing.

I think Victor is trying to say that, before anyone has access to get a vaccine no matter what its for, that medicine has been tested and re-tested. So, its not all that much of a risk as its more likely to save you than kill you. This might be to generalized of a thought though, since there has been deaths many deaths accredited to vaccines.

All things aside, This news is great for millions, I applaud the people trying to make this happen

Look at Magic Johnson, he came out announced he had hiv about20 years ago, he's still looking strong and healthy at 52 years old. HIV is not the death sentence it once was.

Aids is no worse than cancer. My uncle had lung cancer, when he was diagnosed it was stage 3, he went thru chemo and died in 14 months.
