Public relations, marketing and good business by sponsors

#1

Post by LovinLife » May 15th, 2024, 11:43 am

The more I read on here and other forums what i notice is sponsors mainstream and adult have good sites but very poor public relations, poor support and bad marketing strategies. It takes more than content or design to make people take out their credit cards. From the affiliate sale side programs do not seem to know how to show new and old affiliates they care enough to reply to them or give support.

My opinion on why sales are not what they can be for so many sponsors.

I am more into non-adult right now and agree this is a problem in that side of affiliate programs too.

As a publicist, I have literally had people contact me saying they wanted marketing and publicity for their white label site.

And that's pretty sad. It's kinda like being contacted to help someone sell their Amway or products. If you're signing up for a white label or affiliate program, you should already have a certain idea of how you intend to do the marketing and publicity. But typically, these are calls from people who just drank the kool aid thinking they're going to be rich, not have to do any work, and don't know how this works.

Even major brands use marketing to stay a head of the game when they are the top company in their field. Look at Visa, Mastercard, Nike, Pepsi.......

Money makes money why they advertise, look at the Super Bowl half time show how much sponsorship costs, or at the Olympics. The big boys spend to make money. They do not sit back say why tell people about our brand.

Hint for sponsors reply to support tickets that is a start to good business ethics.

Frustrated today with a couple who post here.
