At the moment, working on upgrading our main server cluster. Trouble is, all the servers have to be done at once so thats 3 x webservers, a load balancer, a db server, CDN and a cron server all with proprietary code

Also added a few new sites to the network below. As always, all the affiliate content for them is available in our Affiliate Admin Adrea

I never understand what a load balance server does, the other two m3entioned I know how they work.

When you have a LOT of traffic (say 200k plus a day) then a single server will struggle to handle the load so the load balancer routes each request to the least busy server. Its much easier to scale up that way. We are up to 3 web servers at the moment but we can easily add more as required
