Kenya detained a man accused of pretending to be a lawyer
Remember Mike in "Suits" pretending to be a lawyer, this story reminded me of that show.
https://businessday.ng/news/article/fak ... -26-cases/
"Authorities in Kenya have detained Brian Mwenda, a fake lawyer who has won 26 cases while posing as an Advocate of the high court of Kenya.
Before his arrest, the attorney handled 26 cases before High Court Judges, Magistrates, and Court of Appeal Judges, all of which he won, Kenyan entertainment news website Mpasho reported.

Due to false pretenses, the Law Society of Kenya Nairobi Branch Rapid Action Team (RAT) detained him.
When the RAT received complaints from the general population, he was captured."
PS I love the RAT acronym lol.

Suits was a great series the last episode was as bad as the one for Sopranos. They ended it without much fun.

He deserves an honorary law degree after winning so many cases if he is not one.

The resemblance to the plotline in "Suits" is uncanny. It's both intriguing and concerning to hear about someone successfully posing as a lawyer and winning cases through false pretenses. The fact that Brian Mwenda managed to handle 26 cases before high court judges, magistrates, and court of appeal judges is quite astonishing. It's commendable that the Law Society of Kenya's Nairobi Branch Rapid Action Team (RAT) took swift action upon receiving complaints from the public and detained him.

It seems a remake of "Suits" in real life
Life imitating art.
