Just remember, royalty free does not mean free. As TAC pointed out, you still need to buy the music to use it.tacnet wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2023, 8:15 pmNo just google royalty free music - https://www.google.com/search?q=royalty+free+music

Good point. There is a cost to these things but it is usually a fraction of what you would pay for full broadcast license. I would estimate anywhere from $10 - $50 is about averageHeidiHoe wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2023, 10:03 pmJust remember, royalty free does not mean free. This always confused me, I have heard this but if it is royalty free who is charging for the music you buy?

The producers charge for a license to use their music on a website, just the same as graphic designers would charge you for an image or video clip on say https://www.shutterstock.com/ or https://themeforest.net/born2bewild wrote: ↑November 28th, 2023, 8:09 pmThis always confused me, I have heard this but if it is royalty free who is charging for the music you buy?
What you dont get is a license to broadcast the music in a public place (eg a bar or social club) as that would require royalties
We've bought a few music clips from https://themeforest.net/ in the past

Even if free I hate web pages with automatic music or sound, I'll be in line at the grocery store waiting my turn, looking at web sites and some have sound, I do not need people realizing i am on a porn site.

How many times did i say porn sites need to avoid sound unless the surfer clicks on the sound.
