Is there a script to do this
Hi Is there a script to open a background window when a visitor comes to your page that does not require them to click on anything to load that page

never mind, i realized i was not actually answering your question so i deleted my post.
most modern browsers block popups/popunders by default unless they are initialized by a user interaction such as a click.
even then, many browsers will block it so while it is possible to do it it is only a "maybe" that it will work.

Unfortunately I have the same answer there is no way to pop a page in front or behind another one with no click.

All you will do is increase bot traffic at least when a click is necessary for the page to load it is human traffic.

This is easy enough to do with something like this :-
but its likely to be blocked by most browsers
Code: Select all
<script>
document.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", () => {
myWindow = window.open("https://www.mydomain.com/mypage.html", "_blank");
});
</script>- LuKenGas

The click method is fine it makes the traffic on the pop page a human not a bot
