If he bought Twitter to change the way it operates and steps down as CEO I will be very surprised. Either they got to him or he's just having fun with the naysayers. Why even go through the expense and headache of buying it and then not following through with his vision for what he wants for Twitter.

Let's see, he quit paying rent, quit paying at least some vendors and invoices. He fired his compliance team that places Twitter in default of some legal agreements and opens him up to huge fines. There's talk that he's considering not paying agreed upon severance pay that could open him up to lawsuits since he didn't give 60 day notice as required by employment laws when large employers do mass layoffs. Maybe he's looking for a patsy to install as CEO.

I bet he had a good idea the poll would go for him to resign as ceo and did it anyways to make it look as if he went along with it.

It really doesn't matter if he installs a CEO. He's the owner, there's no board of directors, no shareholders. He'll tell the CEO what to do and blames everything on the new CEO.
