Rick I am far from a PHP pro but I will hazard an educated guess that your server is running 7.4 and the script requires PHP 5.5 or newer, bit your version is more advanced and the script will not run.

My 1 cent.
im running 7 tried 3 different host even free hosting. i have never seen an error ever.

I tested installing it and the script has:

"define('REQUIRE_PHP_VERSION','5.5.0');"

That is all I can find and I am using 7 too.

I have seen older scripts fail to load or work on much newer PHP versions, so that is what I based my guess on.

The script has been kept current, last update made it compatible with php8 and the demo works from what I see on their site. I currently don't have anything up and running nor do I have the energy to dig into this. I did see there's a support forum linked to the site. You could check it. Considering the demo works fine, it's got to be something simple.
