[BUSINESS] cron jobs slow down my server every day
I have a dedicated server but every night just after midnight when the server is doing a backup and the crons for my stats are working it slows down my server.
So my host disabled
Analog stats
Awstats stats
and kept
Webalizer stats
Is there a way to stagger these crons over the day so they do not all happen at the same time?
Than kyou

The daily backups you can specify not certain where you pick the time for the other crons

If you run 4 crons at the same time it might impact the performance but if you are running them 1 by 1 it should not be noticeable, you might be having other crons run at the same times you are not aware of.

If your running multiple stats softwares you will always have slowdowns pick one and get rid of the rest.
Backups you can set to run a few hours after stats are done.

If you keep just the one stats system and still notice a slow down in performance then it is time to get a new serverwetnwild wrote: ↑March 25th, 2022, 11:25 amI have a dedicated server but every night just after midnight when the server is doing a backup and the crons for my stats are working it slows down my server.
