[NON-BUSINESS] Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

For some reason I remembered a class I had decades ago in college, I must be getting old because lately I think up lectures from my school days.

And I could not remember the exact quote so I looked it up, all I could remember was "Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." I try practice that in life, it seems to work for me.

Anyways here is the exact quote:

The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave a sermon:
Loving Your Enemies, in which he said “Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”


We are living troubled times and not getting political but what if we as humans thought about this line. We all work hard to make money, buy a nice house, have a nice car, put our kids in college, and with or without knowing how many people do we step on in life to get where we want to be. After all we are only on this earth for a finite number of years why not live happy and in peace with our fellow homos apiens.
