The flu is just as nasty as Covid-19

Good Tuesday September 2nd, I hope everyone had a fantastic Labor Day weekend, I have had Covid-19 a few times but not sure if I ever had the flu. let me tell you the flu is no fun. Most of the symptoms are the same, high fever, chills, body ache, headache, sore throat, nose, eyes. It started Sunday last week, turned into bronchitis, that's under control but man the chills are not in a hurry to go away.

I have never had the flu shot but will seriously consider it , this thing is no fun, it is just as rough on you as Covid. The short of it is weakness and being tired. Not going to let it get the better of me and just going to try get on with my life. I hope everyone feels well and stays well, have a great day.

Hot tea with a tea spoon of honey and lots of fresh lemon juice , and hot tea with fresh ginger in it, two drinks you will enjoy and are good when you are sick honey. Lots of rest, a hot shower and sweat it out in bed. Get well Dave.

Thanks Calista but the last time I had tea was when I was 10. I am a coffee guy hate everything tea.

Ive not had the flu jab yet either. Keep meaning to get it but by the time I get round to it, Ive already had the flu

Thanks I might get it next year I’m hoping once you get it you should have natural immunity for that variant going around. It’s getting better but smoking for 40 years and now probably doesn’t help the cough, it make’s you very weak and tired. That’s life the show must go on until the fat lady sings.
