I get private messages and reply never to hear back, people miss they have a new message

Gspotman there is noting to fix my friend, in addition to the standard "New pm" notice in the navbar I added an additional phpbb approved extension that glows red. People can disable email notification of new pm messages that's there choice but when they come back to the board they will see they have a new private message. Whether they click to read it is their decision not much you me or the sender of the message can do.

I hope this makes sense.

First thing I do when I go online in the morning I check my emails the first thing I do when I log in here or any forum is I check my pm inbox.

An idea what if when you login you get redirected to your PM box if you have new unread messages?

Not a bad suggestion, however I have not seen any phpBB extension to do that.

How hard is it to check your inbox I do this on every visit to forums I am registered at.
