With the news today of Anthony Bourdain taking his life, what can we do as a family member, friend or just a co-worker to help an individual form committing suicide. After the fact it's too late, this is a serious question so please keep the answers on a real serious level, no jokes please.

Listen to them, hear what they are saying between the lines, watch out for depression and signs that the other person is not happy.These are all starters.

Look out for friends who have wild mood swings, that is a sign things upstairs for them are not going right

My GF gets al irritable during her period, but she is not depressed, that's just her.If anything I am the one who is more suicidal when she is on her 5 day bad mood swiing lololololololol
